Extended functionalities

  • Import products from the Rentman to your webshop
  • Products will be imported with price, name, images, pdf, ... to your webshop
  • Products will be imported into categories like your folder structure in Rentman
  • Specify which product item needs to be imported to the webshop
  • Add extra information on product level in Rentman and import it to the webshop, like short and long description
  • Customers can order with a start and end time
  • Webshop can optionally show stock availability based on the availability in your Rentman account
  • Projects in Rentman can be created by your customers via orders in the webshop. Each project will provide the needed information like selected products, customer information, start and end time, ...
  • By default an email will be send to the email address of the Rentman account, notifying for a new project being created
  • Each contact filled in via a webshop order will be matched in Rentman via the email address. If existing it will be linked to the right Rentman contact

Webshop flow

Description of the usual steps your customers and your team (Rentman Users) will take when your webshop is setup.

For your customers

  1. Customer selects products he/she 's interested in
  2. Customer selects the rental period and places the product in the shoppingcart
  3. Customer places the order. Based on the email address a check in the Rentman database will occur to see if it's for an existing customer, if not all the needed contact info is requested
  4. Customer receives oreder confirmation via the webshop
  5. Customer receives an official quote at a later time based on the request in the Rentman portal

For Rentman users

  1. An email will be send from the Webshop, notifying that there's a new order
  2. The order will be created as a project within Rentman with the 'Concept' status on an existing or a new contact. Selected products and the rental period will be available
  3. The project will be handled further in Rentman as a normal other Rentman project. Take contact with the customer, finalize the quote and send it towards the customer
