Last week, AppSys replaced the storage environment with a Dell PowerStore unit, allowing the client to gain extra space and performance for hosting their VMware Horizon VDI environment with CAD functionality.
Due to the company's growth, this additional capacity was necessary, and they have laid a solid foundation for the future, making expansion on the storage front easily achievable.

Additionally, the current backup provision is being replaced by a Dell PowerProtect unit to make their backup infrastructure more scalable and better protected against ransomware attacks.
