Network redesign at Vasco Group following their acquisition by Midea

AppSys recently carried out a network redesign at Vasco Group. After the acquisition by the Midea Group, this IT restructuring was necessary to align with the larger organization.

Vasco is a full-service provider of heating and ventilation solutions with sales activities in Europe as well as in distant export markets such as Japan, the US, China and New Zealand. Vasco Group is now part of MBT Climate, which in turn is supported by the Midea Group, a global player in climate technology.

💡 About the solution:

During the network redesign project at Vasco Group, we renewed the entire network structure and replaced old, overlapping IP ranges with a modern, scalable architecture that aligns with the acquisition by Midea.

We developed a clear new IP plan and migrated firewalls, switches, servers, storage and ERP systems with minimal impact on production.

All backups, monitoring and third-party integrations were also adapted to the new design.

Thanks to the close collaboration between the AppSys team and Vasco IT, the transition went very smoothly. The result is a stable, secure and logically structured network on which Vasco can continue to build, with a clear overview.
