Replacement of outdated telephony infrastructure for Police Zone Rupel.

AppSys ICT Group was enlisted to replace the old telephone infrastructure at the main headquarters and district offices of Police Zone Rupel. The outdated on-premise phone system and telephones were replaced with a 3CX Cloud-based system and new SNOM IP phones.
About Police Zone Rupel:
This Belgian police zone, consisting of the five municipalities of Boom, Hemiksem, Niel, Rumst, and Schelle, serves 63,000 citizens. With over 9,000 emergency calls, 400 arrests, and numerous events, they are a medium-sized but not 'quiet' rural police zone.
About the Solution:
AppSys provided Police Zone Rupel with a 3CX phone system in the AppSys Cloud. Redundant Session Border Controllers ensure a secure VoIP tunnel to the Cloud at the main headquarters in Boom and district offices in Hemiksem and Rumst. We integrated intercom systems at the district offices to facilitate visitor check-ins. Police Zone Rupel also saves significantly on their telecom bill with the switch to our telecom partner, LCR Telecom. By using the 3CX softphone application, remote work becomes easier. Police inspectors can easily communicate with their colleagues at the headquarters using the 3CX smartphone app.
