What about your IT infrastructure when moving to a new location? We assisted our client s-Lim with the relocation to their new site on the main ring road in Hasselt.
About s-Lim:
Smart Region Limburg (s-Lim) is a collaboration of Limburg municipalities aiming to transform the entire region into a smart region through technological and software applications. Their goal is to promote the prosperity, well-being, and quality of life of the people in Limburg.
How did we help the client?
Firstly, we mapped out the existing infrastructure, including the firewalls and their data centers. Based on this, we developed a detailed migration plan. It was important to ensure the security, availability, and continuity of the systems during the migration process. We replaced s-Lim's outdated firewalls with models from the latest generation. The move to the new location helped s-Lim streamline their data center infrastructure and reduce costs by transitioning to a single central data center. During the move, we aimed to minimize downtime so that employees could continue working.
