We spotlight our project with Punch Powertrain this week, where we conducted an expansion of their VDI environment and implemented a Dell PowerProtect solution for enhanced backup infrastructure.

Punch Powertrain is an organization based in Sint-Truiden with around a thousand employees, specializing in innovative transmission and drivetrain systems for OEMs in the automotive sector and mobility providers worldwide.
🔔 How Did We Assist the Customer?
Punch Powertrain is undergoing significant growth, necessitating the expansion of their central VMware Horizon cluster. AppSys deployed new Dell PowerEdge Servers, including Nvidia GPU cards, to provide their graphical users with a new workspace.
Additionally, the customer wanted to revise and optimize their backup strategy to meet modern standards. AppSys and Dell Technologies collaborated on a new design that is future-proof and serves as an excellent foundation to facilitate their growth. Last week, we implemented the Dell PowerProtect solution in their data center.
