This week, we're highlighting our project at Covida. We provided the implementation of a new Server & Storage infrastructure and upgraded their firewalls.

➡️ About Covida vzw:
Covida vzw is a care facility with 6 units in Limburg. They offer day, residential, and individual support to children, young people, and adults with intellectual disabilities. The organization has 900 employees and 1200 clients.

🔔 What was the client's challenge?
Covida's datacenter infrastructure was outdated and in need of renewal. The existing firewalls also no longer met contemporary security requirements.

💡 How did we help the client?
AppSys developed a new datacenter design and implemented it for Covida. Existing infrastructure was replaced with Dell PowerEdge servers and a new Dell Powervault ME5 storage unit. The firewalls were replaced by Clavister Next-Generation firewalls.
