Modernization of IT infrastructure for Gimv.

#AppSysProjectOfTheWeek – This week, our project with the European investment company Gimv takes the spotlight. This project is carried out in collaboration with our partner Bechtle direct Belgium.
About Gimv
Gimv is a European investment company listed on Euronext Brussels. As a recognized market leader, they collaborate with entrepreneurial and innovative companies in 5 forward-looking investment domains. They manage a portfolio of approximately 60 companies, generating a combined revenue of 3.7 billion euros and employing 20,000 professionals.
How did we assist the client?
The client needed a modernization of their IT infrastructure. We installed 2 Dell PowerEdge R750 servers in their own data center and 3 PowerEdge R650 servers in their remote offices. Furthermore, we facilitated an online migration of the servers without any downtime for the employees. We fully integrated the servers with the CloudIQ platform and configured Veeam replication between the 2 R750 servers as an additional security layer.
Summary of the project:
- Installation of servers (2x Dell PowerEdge R750) in their own data center + servers (3x PowerEdge R650) in remote offices
- Online migration of servers, without downtime
- Full integration with CloudIQ platform
- Configuration of Veeam replication between the 2 R750 servers
