Implementation back-up structure for Punch Powertrain PSA E-Transmissions.

AppSys ICT Group implemented a new backup infrastructure at Punch Powertrain PSA E-Transmissions last week. A high-end Dell Technologies Powerprotect solution was chosen as the basis of the solution.

Punch Powertrain PSA E-Transmissions is located in Sint-Truiden, Belgium. The organization has about 600 employees and has just been acquired by Stellantis. They annually produce the parts for some 600,000 gearboxes assembled at plants in Metz, France and Mirafiori, Italy.
About the solution:
A state-of-the-art Dell Technologies PowerProtect system was implemented, combined with PowerEdge servers and a Powervault storage system. These will form the basis of a secure, stable and reliable backup environment.
