Implementation of LAN & WiFi solution at Profel

Over the past few months, AppSys has rolled out a new LAN & WiFi solution at Profel’s main site in Pelt, marking an important step in the further digitalization of the factory.

The Profel Group is a market leader in the production of windows and doors in aluminium, PVC, and wood for residential construction. Unlike many other manufacturing companies, Profel keeps as much as possible under one roof: from primary raw materials to the production of semi-finished goods, assembly of finished products, custom packaging, and in-house transport. Profel produces no fewer than 160,000 windows and doors per year.
💡About the solution:
Together with the customer’s IT department, a completely new design and plan were developed to equip the entire site in Pelt with new LAN and WiFi infrastructure. Following a thorough RFP process, the choice fell on the AppSys solution and the Juniper Networks MIST platform.
AppSys handled the full implementation of the new Juniper solution:
- Design of the new LAN & WiFi solution
- Configuration of the Juniper MIST platform for centralized management
- Configuration of core & access switches across the entire site
- Configuration of the WiFi network for office and factory environments
