Aalst, 19.01.2024 - After two locations in Limburg and one in the Netherlands, AppSys is expanding its horizons further. With an eye on steady growth and the need to expand the team, AppSys decides to make the move to Aalst. "According to us, Aalst is strategically the perfect place. It is located in the triangle of Brussels-Ghent-Antwerp. The new location will serve as a hub to attract new talents and better serve our customers in the central and western part of the country," said Kris Nijs, co-founder of AppSys.

Since its founding in 2012, as a merger of the sole proprietorships of Kris Nijs and Werner Jans, AppSys has grown into an organization with nearly 70 employees spread across multiple locations. As a leading IT partner, specializing in data centers, cloud, managed services, security, and IT consultancy, AppSys serves SMEs, large enterprises, and the public sector in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Kris Nijs emphasizes the necessity of this expansion: "Our growth is remarkable, with an increasing number of customers and the trust of partners. To maintain the same quality of service for customers across Belgium, expansion to the center of the country was essential."

"We are extremely pleased to welcome James De Clercq as a valuable addition to the team. Together with several other team members, he will lead the launch of AppSys Aalst. James shares our vision for the growth of AppSys, and we are confident that his expertise, dedication, and enthusiasm will ensure a successful integration in Aalst," adds Werner Jans.

"I am looking forward to putting AppSys on the map. AppSys has been no stranger to the IT world for a while now. They are a valuable partner of Dell, where I have been on the Partner Advisory Board for five years. It is the perfect time to join forces. I am ready for a new challenge, and AppSys is ready to take a new step in their growth path. With Aalst, we are in the ideal location to introduce AppSys to East and West Flanders, as well as Flemish and Walloon Brabant," says James De Clercq.

AppSys Aalst will offer the same level of service quality as the existing offices in Houthalen, Peer, and Eindhoven. Kris Nijs emphasizes the preservation of the Limburg roots and the associated mindset that characterize AppSys. "We hope to convey our company culture to Aalst and are confident that we will succeed here, together with James. With our move to the SkylinE40 complex, we have a modern base to facilitate our further growth."

The new location will open its doors on February 1st. This expansion offers a unique opportunity for IT talent to be part of AppSys's growing success story.
