Daikin Europe NV Chooses AppSys

Daikin Europe N.V. selects AppSys as the integrator of their new ICT backend infrastructure for the factory in Oostende. With around 1600 employees, they are responsible for the production, sales, and distribution of air conditioning and heating systems in Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Africa.

For Daikin, the availability of their ICT infrastructure is a top priority, and therefore they opt for a Metro Cluster solution: Two identical solutions based on Dell hardware (storage, servers & networking) will be installed in 2 data centers on the site in Oostende, and these will be continuously (synchronously) replicated. If one entire site were to fail, the entire ICT infrastructure would still be available for the customer.

This solution meets the high availability requirements that Daikin sets for its production environment. AppSys will take care of the complete installation and the migration from the old environment to the new one.
