AppSys Implements New IT Infrastructure for P&V Elektrotechniek

P&V Elektrotechniek from Heusden-Zolder has been a leading company for over 30 years in the design and construction of distribution panels and control panels. With a team of 180 experienced employees, they are the largest independent panel builder in Belgium. AppSys is responsible for the implementation of a completely new IT infrastructure for this client: All servers, storage, core and access switches, as well as the entire Wi-Fi infrastructure, are being replaced.

The client has opted for a single vendor for the entire setup, namely DellEMC. We installed a Dell SC5020 as the new SAN solution, new Dell PowerEdge servers connected via Dell S switches for the core, and Dell N switches for the access layer. For the Wi-Fi solution, Aerohive Access Points were chosen, which can be managed via a central cloud tool.

The new Dell infrastructure once again meets the needs of the client and is ready for the growth that this company will undergo in the future.
